The heat returns for one more day in Michiana before a cold front drops us closer to average temperatures. Most of us will reach back into the low 90s today, boosted by sunny skies for most of the day, though some clouds will pop up, no widespread rain is expected today. A shower or two could be seen overnight, but the cold front cutting through tomorrow will give us a heightened chance to see scattered storms in the afternoon hours. Gusty conditions could be seen with these cells, very slight severe risk with the storms. Quieter into the middle of the week, Tuesday being the coolest day overall, with a high right around average for this time of year, but as we approach next weekend temperatures increase as do chances for precipitation, though Independence Day itself is likely going to be hot and humid.
Today: Hot, mostly sunny. High 92.
Tonight: Low chance of showers, warm. Low 71.
Monday: Widespread showers and storms in the afternoon. High 86.
Tuesday: Mild, mostly sunny. High 82.
