Another hot day today, after morning storms rolled through. Humidity is also on the rise thanks to the showers, with heat indices nearing the triple digits. Shower chances increase going into the overnight hours and could stick into Monday morning. Monday will be another scorcher, with even higher heat indices. Storms could start in the afternoon hours and continue through the night, where a cold front will be pushing precipitation through our area. These storms overnight Monday have a higher possibility of being severe.
Showers could stick around into Tuesday morning, but temperatures will be cooler than the previous days. We continue a decrease of temperatures through the end of the week with Thursday's high expected to be in the mid 70s. The weekend sees slightly more seasonable temperatures, and precipitation chances rise again going into the beginning of next week.
Today: Hot and humid, chance for light showers. High 90.
Tonight: More showers roll through our area. Low 70.
Monday: Slightly hotter, heat indices reaching the triple digits. Storm chances increases in the afternoon, possibly severe overnight. High 91.
Tuesday: Shower chances decrease through the day. Cooler than the previous days. High 86.
