Michiana will enjoy another pleasant evening and night tonight, as temperatures fall through the 70s and 60s before settling into the 50s by Friday morning. Clouds will move out this evening, setting up a mostly clear sky overnight.
After quite the mild start to August, summer returns this weekend across Michiana. Highs will make it into the 80s Friday under mostly sunny skies. A few more clouds are possible Saturday as the humidity begins to increase. Most of us will be close to 90 degrees Sunday and Monday, but heat index values in the middle 90s are possible, with storm chances returning late on Sunday. Our best chance of widespread rainfall is on Monday. Latest thinking points to only about a quarter of an inch of rain for most of Michiana.
Tonight: Skies becoming mostly clear. Low 56.
Friday: Mostly sunny. High 82.
Saturday: Mostly to partly sunny. High of 84.
Sunday: Partly sunny. A few showers and storms possible, especially late. High 90.
