ABC57 First Warning Neighborhood Weather Forecast
Sunday, September 8, 2024
Our drought pattern continues this week as little to no rain is expected the next 7-10 days. With very low humidity present, lows tonight will get into the lower 50s under clear skies. The current wildfire smoke will continue into Monday, but it will stay high in the atmosphere, making for hazy conditions. Highs will get back into the 80s on Monday as well but humidity will stay low. In fact, dew points will stay low all work week which will make it feel more like a "dry" heat this week as temperatures hit 90 by Wednesday/Thursday. A weakening tropical system will move closer to Michiana this weekend into early next week, but unfortunately, rain amounts will largely stay away from us. As of now, the only rain chance is next Monday at a 30% chance for the next 10 days. Drought will be the big weather worry heading into mid-September.
Tonight: Clear. Low 52.
Monday: Hazy/sunny. High 80.
Tuesday: Partly cloudy. High 84.
Wednesday: Sunny. High 89.
