Groundbreaking for Elkhart High School's new Health and Strength Center Nov. 26

ELKHART, Ind. -- Elkhart Community Schools announced they will celebrate the groundbreaking and start of construction of the new Elkhart High School Health and Strength Center building on Tuesday, Nov. 26.

School officials say the facility will provide students with access to top-of-the-line exercise equipment, cardio equipment, a fully operational indoor training area, and access to instructors and trainers.

Officials say the facility is meant to support the student population, including student athletes, and a variety of exercise and fitness classes.

The groundbreaking will take place at Elkhart High School's main campus at 2608 California Rd. at 4:30 p.m.
