Governor Synder puts on walking shoes for annual bridge walk

MACKINAC, Mich. -- Governor Rick Snyder put his walking shoes on for the 55th annual Mackinac Bridge Walk.
The five mile walk starts in St. Ignace and ends in Mackinac City.
Tens of thousands take part in this Labor Day holiday ritual.
Synder crossed the bridge at a brisk 12 minute per mile pace.
Labor Day is the only day of the year you can walk across the Mackinac Bridge.
