SOUTH BEND, Ind. -- The calendar says December, but it looked more like spring or summer at a South Bend golf course Wednesday.

ABC 57 found a few golfers putting on the green at Erskine Park Golf Course. Even though the temperatures were on the chilly side, golfers thought it was a great time to take advantage of the sunshine.

"We never expect to have no snow yet this late into December,” said David Firestone. “So, I guess you can call it a pleasant surprise that we are getting this kind of play this time of year where normally would be shoveling snow"
