Get ready for some family fun - the Potawatomi Zoo opens for the season today!

SOUTH BEND, Ind. -- Potawatomi Zoo is ready to welcome families back to the zoo!

The zoo is officially open for the season starting today. Current hours are 10am-5pm now through May, then summer hours will extend to 10am-8pm.

Your favorite animals and attractions are returning this season, including the train, the carousel, lions and giraffes!

New this year, the Potawatomi Zoo introduces The Lodge, a new state of the art cafe where you'll get to enjoy some delicious concession items with real bears! The Lodge has ceiling to floor windows, looking in on the Andean Bear Exhibit.
