NILES, Mich. –– A ballpark is full of the simple things, such as bleachers, netting and a scoreboard. However, the cost of those "little things" is making it difficult for those at Thomas Memorial Stadium to make necessary upgrades.
Pepper Miller, the President at Thomas Memorial Stadium, said the bleachers are in desperate need of changes. With that said, the cost is running nearly 100,000 dollars alone.
That does not include the various other aspects of the ballpark needing fixes. To contribute to the ballpark renovations you can donate on the stadium's GoFundMe page.
