Clouds hang tough thru the first half of Monday with a sprinkle possible. More sun is in the forecast by late Monday afternoon with warmer highs in the upper 70s.
A September heatwave will grip the region Tuesday thru Thursday with partly to mostly cloudy skies each day. Highs will soar into the upper 80s with muggy humidity values making it feel like it’s in the lower to even middle 90s. A few isolated showers or storms are possible each day and night, but there will be significantly more dry time.
A cold front will bring a band of showers and storms through Thursday night into the first half of Friday. The heat and humidity will also drop for Saturday before temps return to summer levels next Sunday and beyond in the 80s.

Monday: More clouds than sun. High of 77.
Tuesday: Partly cloudy, hot and humid. Slight chance of a PM pop-up shower or storm. High of 89.
