Fair Tuesday, more storms Wednesday
The cooldown that we have been experiencing through this week ends today, with quite the biting end. Breezy conditions through the morning hours, gusts up to 25 mph, though we could see a little sunshine in the afternoon. Even though we are going to be warming up through the rest of the weekend, we are still going to be staying sub-30 for most of the coming week. A system passing through the central portion of the state is expected to bring heavy snowfall to Michiana's south, with the greatest snow chance from this weekend coming Sunday night. That snow chance is expected to bring at most 2 inches to the southern portions of our viewing area. Michiana has a better chance of seeing snow mid-week, with more bitter cold on Wednesday and Thursday.
Today: Cold, breezy, gusts up to 25 mph. High 22.
Tonight: Patchy clouds. Low 17.
Sunday: Mostly cloudy, cold. Widespread snow in the overnight hours. High 26.
Monday: Lingering snow, breezy. High 28.
