Cloudy skies will persist through the afternoon, with a slight chance of light snow. Tonight, temperatures will drop to the low 20s under mostly cloudy skies. Friday will start off calm, with partly cloudy conditions and highs reaching the upper 30s. Mixed precipitation is expected Friday evening, leading to slushy conditions overnight and into Saturday. By Saturday morning, the rain/snow mix will transition to all snow. Lake-effect snow is likely to return for the remainder of the weekend. A cooling trend begins Sunday, with high temperatures falling back into the teens.
