PORTAGE TOWNSHIP, Ind. -- The Portage Township Trustee Office has partnered with Ladder Up, a nonprofit organization working with the Notre Dame and Saint Mary’s Tax Assistance Program, to help highlight a free tax filing service available in northern Indiana.

Starting in February, there are several locations throughout Portage Township, such as the Charles Black Community Center and La Casa de Amistad, where residents can bring paperwork and necessary documentation to file their taxes in one-on-one sessions.
