Free kids' cooking class at River Valley Farmers' Market

SOUTH BEND, Ind. - Organizers from River Valley Farmers' Market invite families to bring their kids to a free hour-long cooking class on Saturday.

Kids keep the mess at the market while they measure, chop any produce, mix, and eat their creations after it is baked.

The free class starts at 11:00 a.m. for kids of any age.

Depending on what is available, organizers say they may be working with local fresh strawberries or rhubarb.
