Former Notre Dame running back charged in connection with 5-year-old's death

Las Vegas Metropolitan Police arrested a former Notre Dame player and his girlfriend in connection with the death of his girlfriend's 5-year-old daughter.
Police arrested 28-year-old Cierre Wood and his girlfriend 26-year-old Amy Taylor on child abuse charges.
Police were called to a Las Vegas hospital Tuesday night for a child's death.
An autopsy is being conducted.
Wood is scheduled for court Thursday morning.
