Former IU quarterback Fernando Mendoza drafted by Las Vegas Raiders

Indiana Athletics PITTSBURGH -- The MVP of the NCAA champion Hoosiers is headed to the NFL.
At tonight's first round draft, Heisman trophy winner Fernando Mendoza was the first overall pick in the NFL draft. Mendoza will be heading to the Las Vegas Raiders. The former IU quarterback has consistently been ranked as a top prospect in this year's draft.
