Former Baroda-Lake Township Police Chief faces Embezzlement charges

Shawn Martin BERRIEN COUNTY, Mich. -- The Berrien County Prosecutor’s Office announced former Baroda-Lake Township Police Chief Shawn Martin has been charged with six counts of Embezzlement.
Martin was placed on unpaid administrative leave on Feb. 26.
Martin is charged with Embezzlement by an agent or servant $50,000 - $100,000, three counts of Embezzlement by a public official over $50, and two counts of Embezzlement by an agent or servant $1,000 - $20,000
Lt. Wesley Koza was named interim police chief.
