SOUTH BEND, Ind. -- Barnes and Thornburg law firm hosted a new event, Food Truck Philanthropy, which benefits Downtown South Bend (DTSB) while also giving those who were downtown at lunchtime on Thursday a chance to try out some local food truck cuisine.
DTSB Executive Director Willow Wetherall says the event brings new opportunities for business.
“I think the most rewarding part is seeing people discover downtown in a new way,” Wetherall said. “It’s a wonderful way to both support our food truck businesses, get the word out about upcoming events, and the things that Downtown South Bend does.”
Fifteen percent of the sales from Food Truck Philanthropy will go towards DTSB, and Barnes & Thornburg will match every dollar donated.
