MISHAWAKA, Ind. -- Fleet Feet Mishawaka is hosting a 'Mother’s Day Fun Run' celebration a day early to celebrate the mothers in our community.
In just a few hours, mothers will be running into the Mother’s Day weekend.
You at home can bring out the running shoes and join in the fun too.
The celebration will start on Saturday at 8 a.m. but participants are encouraged to show up earlier to sign some waivers.
The ‘Mother’s Day Fun Run’ event is the first event fleet feet has put on since the pandemic hit.
They are expecting about 80 participants to come out and join the 2.25 mile run around the neighborhood that will start and end at the store.
And, the run finishes off with mimosas, donuts, raffles and store discounts all to celebrate mothers in the community.
“Put that emotion to motion. Come on out, it’s a free event. It doesn’t cost anything. You get plenty of time to come and hang out with us in the morning and spend your time with your favorite mom in the afternoon,” said Jennifer Davis, Store Manager at Fleet Feet.
Fleet feet says everyone is welcomed to come, not just mothers.
