Hill's legal counsel, Don Lundberg, filed a motion Wednesday with the Indiana Supreme Court declining the appointments.
A complaint the Indiana Supreme Court Disciplinary Commission filed Tuesday alleges Hill violated Indiana's professional conduct rules for attorneys by allegedly groping the four women at an Indianapolis bar during a party celebrating the end of the 2018 legislative session.
A special prosecutor declined in October to pursue criminal charges against Hill, who denied wrongdoing .
Lundberg's filing calls it "unprecedented" for the commission to charge an attorney with professional conduct violations after a prosecutor declined to file criminal charges.
