Cool fall weather had finally arrived. Lake effect rain showers will linger through Wednesday and wind gusts could top 30 mph. Temperatures will struggle to break 50 degrees until Friday afternoon. Friday and Saturday morning will likely be frosty, with lows in the mid-30. The weekend is fair and milder, with highs nearing 60 degrees.
