SOUTH BEND, Ind. -- Notre Dame fans young and old gathered at The Linebacker Wednesday night to swap stories and raise a glass to former Notre Dame head coach Lou Holtz, who's family confirmed the Irish legend passed away at the age of 89. Holtz won 100 games for the blue & gold during his time in South Bend, and fans remember him as a hugely impactful figure for the school and the region.
