GRANGER,Ind. --  Elkhart Police responded to a single-vehicle crash near 52284 Ash Road, Granger, Saturday morning. The driver is believed to have experienced a medical emergency before the crash. During the incident, he lost control of his 2007 Ford F-150, sideswiped a tree, and damaged the vehicle.

The driver did not seem injured from the crash, but was pronounced dead at the scene due to a medical emergency. Life-saving measures were performed, but were unsuccessful.

The Elkhart County Crash Investigation Team (CIT) responded to the scene, and the crash is still under investigation.
