LA PORTE, Ind.-How would you like having farm-to-table foods delivered right to your doorstep?
Market Wagon, an Indiana-based company, just opened a local food hub in La Porte and is accepting delivery orders in Michiana.
The online farmers market partners with local farmers or artisan markets to provide consumers with fresh produce, cheese, bread, baked goods, milk, etc.
“We know exactly who we are partnering with, so we know all of our food is up to par and most of our food is organic,” said Lauren Opperman, Market Coordinator for Market Wagon. “They get the healthiest food possible,” Opperman said.
You can browse through their products on your computer or smartphone throughout the week and place an order from multiple vendors with one checkout. Orders must be placed by Tuesdays at midnight and are delivered every Thursday afternoon.
Saint Joseph, Elkhart, Starke and Marshall counties have access to Market Wagon’s delivery service.
Customers also have the option to pick up orders from the La Porte Hub, located at 600 Lincolnway.
The company is always looking for local vendors to partner with. If you’re interested in becoming a partner, click HERE.
