We finally have a dry period in the near-term forecast, albeit a short one. High temperatures today will stay near 60 degrees across the forecast area with mostly cloudy skies overhead. After dropping to the low 40s later tonight, Michiana jumps back up to the upper 50s in the first half of Friday. The second half of tomorrow sees showers return alongside transitioning pressure systems in the evening, with rain getting progressively heavier overnight into Saturday morning. A few thunderstorms are possible in this system, but no severe weather is expected. The wet weather wraps up before noon on Saturday and the rest of the weekend is cool but quiet. Next week starts off partly cloudy and in the 40s.
Today: Mostly cloudy. High 60.
Tonight: Mostly cloudy. Low 40.
Friday: PM rain. High 57.
Saturday: AM showers. High 52.
