Fab Lab ornament workshop will be joined by Santa Claus who's coming to town

BENTON HARBOR, Mich. --On Thursday, December 1, at the Fab Lab in Lake Michigan College's Hanson Technology Center, in Benton Harbor, Santa Claus is scheduled to make an early stop.

With workshop time slots between 4-5 p.m. and 5:30-6:30 p.m., Santa's visit will be part of a Fab Lab ornament workshop, where the registered participants can have their photos taken with Mr. Claus and use the image to laser cut and personalize 4-inch wooden holiday ornaments.

Between 12-6 p.m. Monday, December 3, ornaments will be ready to pick up and personalize with text, with free personalization only available on December 3.

Participants will have access to their photos digitally via Google Drive, and the Fab Lab staff will share a link by email to those who register, and will have it available for download, print and sharing throughout the holiday season.

With the cost of $20, participants can also purchase additional nine ornaments for another $20 as well.
