St. Joseph Plymouth Medical Center reopens after receiving bomb threat

The St. Joseph Plymouth Medical Center has reopened.
Officials said during the evacuation, two patients were safely discharged, six were transferred to Saint Joseph Mishawaka Medical Center, and one was transferred to Community Hospital of Bremen.

PLYMOUTH, Ind. --- St. Joseph Plymouth Medical Center was evacuated after receiving a bomb threat Monday evening. Hospital employees safely evacuated nine patients: ensuring that each patient was continuously monitored and cared for during the evacuation.
Clinical staff loaded patients onto a bus to keep them warm while awaiting ambulance transport to Saint Joseph Mishawaka Medical Center.
Patients' families are being notified to ensure they are informed and supported at this time.
At this time, the hospital remains closed while law enforcement continues their investigation.
