End date for Colfax Avenue project has now been extended

City of South Bend - Municipal Government SOUTH BEND, Ind. -- Phase 1 of the Colfax Avenue project has now been pushed back due to underground utility conflicts.
Crews are working to adjust or relocate the conflicting underground utilities to keep the project on track.
Phase 1 will now be completed by mid-August.
Phase 2 will extend construction from Sycamore Street to Glintz Drive.
Colfax Avenue will see a new multi-purpose path, new sidewalks, and Sycamore Street will have new decorative lights, trees, and more.
