Local mother calls on community to help find family keepsakes stolen from her garage

MISHAWAKA, Ind. -- A local mother, soon to be grandma, is reaching out to the community in hopes of getting her belongings back that were allegedly stolen in late July.

Adrian Gard had everything from photos, first haircuts, baby clothes, and more stolen from her garage, along with a lot of other home essentials. There is a dumpster that sits in front of her garage unit where she says a lot of people go scavenging.

She is asking that these keepsakes be returned to her for a monetary reward.

Gard says, “It's over 21 years of memories, that I don't have copies of any of my photographs. I'll never have those birth certificates from the hospital. I'll never have any of that stuff, and it may sound selfish because I know that people lose things in fires and, in you know, in different things. But like, this is just a, this is just a very cruel way of losing my things.”
