Elkhart Community Schools announce reopening plan

Elkhart Community Schools released their plan for the school year on Wednesday. It allows parents to choose whether to send students for in-person classes or use virtual learning.

Students who attend in-person classes will go to school two days a week and will have eLearning three days a week.

Students who do attend classes will be required to wear a mask, which is provided, when they are unable to maintain 6-feet of distance from others, like when on buses, hallways or common areas.

If you do not want your student wearing a mask, you are asked to use online learning.

The school year begins on August 13.
