Elkhart police investigating shooting that left teen injured

ABC 57 ELKHART, Ind. -- The Elkhart Police Department reports an officer responded to Elkhart General Hospital on March 7 around 3:59 p.m. regarding a 19-year-old walk-in patient with an apparent gunshot wound.
The man was treated for non-life-threatening injuries.
Police say the location and circumstances of the shooting remain under investigation.
