ELLKHART, Ind. -- The Elkhart police department hosted their 11th annual Night Out Against Crime event, to help strengthen relationships with the community.
The event is open for the public to come out and spend time with local law enforcement, while enjoying different venues and activities.
This year, the event was available from 5 - 7 p.m., with games such as the water dunk tank, which included special participants like Chief Kris Seymore and Assistant Chief Chris Snyder.
The department says this is their largest community event of the year and each year, the aim is to grow with the community they serve.
