Elkhart man robbed at gunpoint, police say

ELKHART, Ind. -- The Elkhart Police Department reported that an officer arrived to a residence on the 700 block of Cleveland Avenue at approximately 12:25 p.m. on Monday for a call concerning a robbery.

The victim claims that two men approached him as he was walking to the rear door of his residence at approximately 12:45 a.m. on Monday and requested money from him, police say.

Police say that the victim stated one of the men pulled out handgun and forced him into the house.

The victim claims that one of the men then punched him and knocked him out, police say.

Police say the victim reported that the two suspects left the residence at approximately 11 a.m. on Monday and had stolen a television.

No arrests have been made and the case remains under investigation.
