Elkhart man arrested for exposing himself in front of children in Walmart toy aisle
ELKHART, Ind. -- Twenty-seven-year-old Storm Saylor, of Elkhart, was arrested on Dec. 10 and charged with Performing Sexual Conduct in Presence of a Minor after he was seen in a local Walmart exposing himself to a mother and her two children.
Elkhart officers responded to the Walmart at 175 C.R. 6 W. around 2:20 p.m. on Tuesday after reports of a public indecency/possible sex offense in progress.
"Upon arrival, officers made contact with the alleged male subject in the automotive checkout area and detained him," authorities said. "Initial investigation indicated that the male subject removed his penis and stroked it while he was near the toy aisle and near a woman and her two young children."
Walmart issued Saylor a lifetime trespass warning, and Saylor was officially charged with Performing Sexual Conduct in Presence of a Minor, a Level 6 Felony, Public Indecency with a Prior, a Level 6 Felony, and Criminal Mischief, a Class B Misdemeanor.
This case has been forwarded to the Elkhart County Prosecutor’s Office for review of formal criminal charges.
