Elkhart Environmental Center hosting Earth Day celebration and tree giveaway

The event will feature a free tree giveaway, seeds and starters exchange, live fish demo, activities for the kids and much more.
The free tree giveaway will happen from 10 a.m. to noon. They will be giving away pin oaks, eastern redbud, tulip poplar and a bald cypress. There is a limit of one tree per household.
The spring seeds and starters exchange will be from noon to 1 p.m.
The Elkhart Environmental Center is at 1717 E. Lusher Avenue in Elkhart.
