BREAKING: 17-year-old dead after crash at S.R. 15, C.R. 26 on Tuesday afternoon

UPDATE: The Elkhart Sheriff's Office has confirmed that the 17-year-old has been identified as Amelia Sneddon, and that family has been notified.
Police have also determined through investigation that the 54-year-old Goshen woman Jodi Nagle, driving a 2006 Ford Mustang, was found to be under the influence of cannabis.
The driver has been arrested for Operating While Intoxicated Causing Death.
UPDATE: The Elkhart Sheriff's Office has confirmed the crash at S.R. 15 and C.R. 26 on Tuesday afternoon was fatal.
Authorities say a 2006 Ford Mustang being driven by a 54-year-old Goshen woman was pulling out of a private drive at the intersection of S.R. 15 and C.R. 26, going westbound.
At the same time, a 2014 Kawasaki Ninja was being driven north by a 17-year-old Goshen female on S.R. 15 at the intersection of C.R. 26.
"[The Ford] pulled into the intersection from the private drive, failing to yield to [the Kawasaki]," the ECSO said.
"[The Kawasaki's] front end struck the rear driver’s side of [the Ford]. [The driver of the motorcycle] was ejected from the motorcycle. [They] suffered fatal injuries and was declared deceased on scene."
Authorities say the driver of the Ford was not injured and no citations were issued at the scene, but an investigation is ongoing.
The motorcycle driver was reportedly wearing a helmet at the time, and the driver of the Ford was wearing a seatbelt.
ORIGINAL: ELKHART COUNTY, Ind. -- The Elkhart County Sheriff's Office is reporting a two-vehicle crash near the intersection of S.R. 15 and C.R 26 on Tuesday that has created closures on both roads.
The call reportedly came in around 3:11 p.m. on Feb. 25 and, as of 4:15 p.m., the scene is still active.
S.R. 15 is closed from C.R. 23 and C.R 26 and C.R 26 is closed to C.R. 21.
