Elkhart County's first Chick-fil-A opens

ELKHART COUNTY, Ind. -- Thursday marks the grand opening of Chick-fil-A in Elkhart, the first location in the county. 

And with this, locals are hopeful this will have more growth and an economic boost to the area.   

Director of Communications and Public Relations for the Elkhart Visitor's Bureau Terry Marks says Chick-fil-A joining the mix will be a big boost for their Exit 92 efforts, adding a well-known name that makes Elkhart a more appealing stop for travelers along the Indiana Toll Road.
