Elkhart County Homicide Unit investigating body found near St. Joseph River

ELKHART COUNTY, Ind. - A body was found by the St. Joseph River near Elkhart General Hospital, around 10 a.m. Tuesday morning.
The Elkhart County Homicide Unit and the Coroner’s Office are investigating.
An autopsy is scheduled for Thursday morning.
No further details are available at this time. Officials say this is an ongoing investigation.
