Edwardsburg man wins $1 million playing Powerball

An Edwardsburg man won $1 million on a Powerball ticket he purchased in Granger for the March 27 drawing.

Steven Hurst told Hoosier Lottery officials he visited a local convenience store on his way to work and had the clerk scan his Powerball ticket. That's when he learned it was worth $1 million.

Hurst then went to work as usual.

Hurst will use the money for a down payment on a 1970 Road Runner convertible.
