Easter egg hunt brings smiles to families in South Bend
SOUTH BEND, Ind. -- Sonlight Fellowship Wesleyan Church in South Bend held their annual Easter Egg Hunt this morning.
From just little infants to 10-year-olds, the kiddos searched high and low for nearly a thousand eggs that were scattered around the property, with some special eggs thrown in for kids to win some prizes.
The Pastor at the church, saying it moments like this that families will remember on Easter every year.
"It's important. Because if you see when you see the videos, you will see the smiles on the kids' face. And so we love to see that, and especially here at sunlight, we love to see the kids smile. And so we know that sometimes in society, it's pretty tough, and this gives an opportunity for us to help them just have a smile. And so if you notice in the film, you will see a bunch of smiles. And so that's one of the, one of the reasons why we do it, too," stated Pastor at Sonlight Fellowship Wesleyan Chruch Greg Holmes.
This was part of the Easter festivities they have been doing for the past 30 years.
