A weakening cold front scrapes through Michiana later today, bringing a probable chance of scattered showers and storms this afternoon into the evening. Current timing of suspected thunderstorm duration will be 3-6 PM originating close to the lake and expanding eastward with time. Although most will see rain, few can expect a thunderstorm. But those who do run into storms may experience brief bouts of heavy rain and gusty winds. Highs reach the upper 80s today but will be cut down by the cold front and any subsequent rain-cooled air. Quiet conditions arrive overnight with lows in the low 60s, but we jump right back up close to 90F on Saturday with plenty of sunshine and warm weather. A more significant chance (50%) of wet weather arrives on Sunday with a steady rain expected through the day. Daily rain chances persist into the start of next week.
Today: Scattered thunderstorms. High 87.
Tonight: Mostly clear. Low 60.
Saturday: Partly cloudy. High 89.
Sunday: Rain. High 80.
