UPDATE: Juvenile recovered after escaping Berrien County Juvenile Facility Wednesday morning

UPDATE: According to a court administrator as of 11:52 a.m., the juvenile has been taken back into custody.

ORIGINAL CONTENT: BERRIEN COUNTY, Mich. -- A juvenile boy allegedly escaped from the Berrien County Juvenile Facility Wednesday morning, and an order for apprehension has been signed.

Around 10:50 a.m. Wednesday, a court administrator was notified that the juvenile breached the facility's perimeter security.

Local law enforcement, including the Michigan State Police and Berrien County Sheriff's Office are assisting in locating the juvenile.

The juvenile has not been found as of 11:08 a.m. Thursday.

No identifying information about him has been released due to juvenile confidentiality laws.
