ST. JOSEPH COUNTY, Mich. — In this week's installment of Developing Downtowns, ABC57's Julianne Grohowski takes us to the small village of Constantine in St. Joseph County, Michigan.
She learned there is an interesting balance at play there; village leaders are making Constantine's downtown vibrant and welcoming, while also maintaining its rich history.
A resident compiled a comprehensive history of each of Constantine's downtown buildings along South Washington Street using old newspaper clippings, records, and firsthand accounts from fellow residents, you can find it here.
