Deputies release name of intruder killed in shooting

LA PORTE COUNTY, Ind. -- The La Porte County Sheriff's Office has released the name of the intruder who was killed in a shooting Thursday morning.
The alleged intruder was identified as 42-year-old Jacob Borders.
Deputies say there appears to be no prior connection between the residents of the home and Borders.
Once their investigation is complete, it will be turned over to the La Porte County Prosecutor's office for review.
