Deputies looking for suspect after attempted abduction in Kalamazoo County

KALAMAZOO COUNTY, Mich. – Deputies are looking for a suspect in an attempted abduction that took place in Kalamazoo County on Wednesday morning, the Kalamazoo County Sheriff’s Office reported.

Around 8 a.m., the Sheriff’s Office responded to a report of an attempted abduction in the 700 block of Dragonfly Road in Oshtemo Township.

Two elementary students reported a person pulling up to them while at the bus stop and attempting to lure them into his vehicle, according to reports.

The students ran away and no one was harmed.

The person is described as a black/Hispanic male with a noticeably large nose and thinning hair or partly bald.

The vehicle he was driving is a white van with possible tinted windows on the side.
