Delvaughn Moore sentenced for murdering 42-year-old woman in 2024

St. Joseph County Jail: Delvaughn Moore ST. JOSEPH COUNTY, Ind. -- The man convicted of murdering 42-year-old Joyce Montague at Miami Hills Apartments in 2024 was sentenced Thursday morning.
The St. Joseph County Prosecutor's Office announced Delvaughn Moore will spend 60 years in prison for Murder.
Moore could have received up to 65 years.
South Bend police were called to Miami Hills Apartments in the 3300 block of High Street for a welfare check on Oct. 22, 2024, for Montague.
Upon arrival, officers said they found Montague dead under her bed.
