MISHAWAKA, Ind. – Papa Vino’s restaurants are giving back to the community to help celebrate “Decio Day” today.
All day long today customers can pre-order a family sized meal and add a donation at checkout, ask their server to add a Decio Day donation to the check, or drop off a donation at Papa Vinos in Mishawaka or St. Joseph, Michigan.
The late Elkhart Businessman, Art Decio, who died in November, was very passionate about the campaign.
“He was part of our family. He was here all the time you know we sat down and had a conversation with him. He told us all the stories of his part. If he came in there was never really a time when he was by himself. You know he came in by himself often but he was always with us as well,” said Jeremy Crabtree, General Manager of Papa Vino’s.
All of the money that is being fundraised throughout the day will benefit the Salvation Army “Tree of Lights” in Elkhart.
