Dec-O-Art donates $25,000 to support Elkhart's Make-A-Wish Foundation

ELKHART, Ind. -- A local decal company has donated $25,000 to 28 Make-A-Wish children from Elkhart.

Dec-O-Art created an employee-driven donation strategy that elected Make-A-Wish-Foundation to receive a $25,000 donation.

Owners of Dec-O-Art represented the company to announce the contribution and offer the check.

“Dec-O-Art wants to present Make-A-Wish with twenty-five thousand dollars to help support your cause so that kids can experience their wishes," said Owner and President of Dec-O-Art Nathan Dosmann. "Hopefully, several children can be impacted by the donation that our team has decided to give to Make-A-Wish.”

Make-A-Wish employees attended the presentation and expressed gratitude for Dec-O-Art's contribution towards the foundation.

“There are twenty-eight children in Elkhart County waiting for their wishes to be granted while they are going through the hardest time in their life," said Make-A-Wish Financial Advisor Lyndsay McBride-Hemmick. "Make-A Wish Foundation and the community has the opportunity to get behind them and pass along the gift of experiencing a wish for these children.”

With each wish costing up to $10,000, McBride-Hemmick hopes the Dec-O-Art contribution will grant two to three wishes for the children and their families.
