BENTON HARBOR, Mich. -- The third meeting about Palisades Nuclear Power Plant possible re-start was held Wednesday at Lake Michigan College.
The public was invited to the ‘Palisades Restart panel’ held by the Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC).
While at the meeting, experts with the NRC and Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) were able to answer some of the public’s questions on how their roles would work if the plant got up and running again.
