ST. JOSEPH COUNTY, Ind. -- The St. Joseph County Police Department announced a D.A.R.E. fundraiser will take place Friday evening at Strikes and Spares Entertainment Center.
All ages are welcome at the event taking place from 4 to 8 p.m.
For $15, participants get two hours of attractions and bowling.
Organizers say this excludes things like Balladium, Atomic Rush, Laser Maze, and Valo Jump.
SJCPD launched its D.A.R.E. program in 1996 and is still going strong today, officials said.
Police say D.A.R.E. is more than drugs and alcohol prevention, it's officers teaching kids how to resist peer pressure, make responsible decisions, combat bullying, and avoid gang involvement and violence.
